Mary Ann Hawkins
7/20/1940-10/7/2021
Mary Ann was born in Greenville, MS on July 20th, 1940. Her parents were Mr. Bill and Mrs. Robbie Hawkins. She had one sibling, a sister, Billie. Her parents and Billie are now deceased. She reunited with her parents and sibling on October 7, 2021. She is survived by a niece, Barbara and a nephew, Jack “Buster” McPeak.
Mary Ann has resided at the Alexander Milne since November 1986. Prior to living at Milne, she resided at Walter’s Remedial School and attended Magnolia School. Both schools were in Louisiana and had been closed for some time now. Mary Ann enjoyed needle work, jewelry, Saints football, being active in church events and being with her family here at Milne. Mary Ann loved life and anyone around her. She kept a smile and a laugh on all faces. Mary Ann Hawkins has left a memory like no other for us here at Milne.
Janice Day

Janice was born on January 2, 1949 to Mr. Walter N. Day and Mrs. Lillie Albertina Anderson Day, in New Orleans Louisiana. She was the youngest of her sibling. Janice was initially admitted to the Milne Homes for Women in New Orleans on July 3, 1970. She enjoyed coloring, sitting outside, and visiting with her brother Ray. Janice enjoyed life and all those around her, she will be missed here by her Milne family.
